The Bible

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. To this end, we begin all our days with the Bible. Knowing God through the Bible is a cornerstone idea behind the school. And it is given utmost importance.

The Shield

The shield represents the idea of protection and refuge. HIS is a place that is a refuge to all students – a place of safety that they can call home.

The Ribbon – quality without compromise

This is the motto of the school. While our students are called to excellence, this excellence ought not to come at the expense of compromising one’s principle.

Our Logo

The logo of the school is a visual representation of what the school stands for and is built upon. It has an image of the world, a growing plant, the Bible and the letters HIS on a shield of blue and white over a ribbon which says, “Quality without compromise.”

HIS

The acronym of HIS serves two functions. While being a helpful abbreviation of the school’s name – Heritage International School, the acronym also serves to remind us who we belong to. The acronym says that the institution belongs to God. We are “His,” and the logo reminds us of it every time we look at it.

Plant

The image of the growing plant represents the education and training of young minds. Like plants that require care and watering, we care for and teach our students that they may grow up to be trees that bless many.

The World

The vision of HIS is to see students go out and make an impact in the world. Like the 12 disciples of Jesus, the beginnings may be small, but we believe that God will use these few students to impact the entire world.
