The upper secondary section of the school prepares students to appear for their IGCSE examinations at the end of their grade 10.
The key emphasis at this stage is PREPARATION.
During this stage, students are prepared for life beyond grade 10. During this stage, students are guided in making choices about the subjects that they would like to study. This encourages and helps students to think seriously about the careers they may wish to eventually pursue.
Grade 8 acts as a bridge between the lower secondary and the upper secondary section, where students are encouraged to study a variety of subjects. In addition to the core of Math, Science and English, they also take Computer Science, Global Perspectives (GP), Environmental Management, Business Studies, and French or Hindi as a Second Language.
At the end of grade 8, the students have to make choices. They will choose between combined Science and pure Science, between First Language English (FLE) and English as a Second Language (ESL). And they choose the additional subjects that they would like to study from the following choices: Global Perspectives, Computer Science, Business Studies and Environmental Management.
