Clubs

HIS offers a way for the students of the secondary section to engage with different co-curricular interests. Students across different classes from 6 to 10 are part of the same club and they get to participate in different activities to develop their particular skills and interests.

Currently, the school offers students the opportunity to choose from among the following clubs:

Art Club

In the art club, students get to hone their art skills by practicing and learning different techniques of art. They work in diverse mediums and develop their skills.

Music Club

The music club of HIS provides an opportunity for students to engage with music in a fun way. Through games and other activities, the club helps students to learn the basics of musical expression and appreciation.

Dance Club

In the dance club, students get to hone their dance skills by practicing and learning different forms of dance. They do so in a fun and easy manner.

Drama Club

The drama club at HIS is a place where students practice various forms of stage performances in a non-threatening and fun environment. Through the club, they learn to do public speaking, acting and other such skills.

Literary Club

At the literary club, students get introduced to the different forms of literature such as poetry, prose and drama. They are introduced to and taught to engage with the rich literature of the past and the present. They also practice forms of public speaking and public writing.

Media Club

The media club is a new addition to our clubs. It is for students interested in photojournalism, design and multimedia presentations. Students in the media club would design school newsletter and slideshows. They would also practice photography and basic photo editing
